The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) announced that the Dubai Police Cavalry will put on a gallant display of their riding skills every evening at the Shindagha heritage sites starting from the first day of Eid until December 12 for residents and visitors in the emirate between as part of the celebrations to mark the 31st National Day and Eid celebrations.The horse cavalry displays have proved very popular in previous years, particularly the tent pegging wherein the riders use lances and charge across the riding arena at great speeds as they attempt to pick up wooden blocks, said DTCM Deputy Manager Events, Marwan Juma Bin Beyat.The Hatta Heritage Village will demonstrate the country's heritage with ample displays of music, handicraft and performing arts as part of the celebrations for the 31st UAE National Day and Eid celebrations. - (menareport.com)
