A Work Management Information System (WMIS) produced by Logica Energy & Utilities, a division of Logica Inc., is expected to save ten service areas at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) up to $3 million per year.
The Energy Distribution Business Unit of LADWP plans to position the Department for deregulation with the implementation of WMIS.
"The WMIS system has integrated distribution work including initiation, design, scheduling, work reporting and closing.
