System offers score on online points of presence
Analyzing the buzz around the Internet's most popular Web sites just got more interesting, thanks to a new ranking from Word of Net.
Through its proprietary system analyzing what people may see online about particular Web sites, Word of Net this week releases the first Visibility Index Top 50, a list of sites with the highest "visibility."
The results are different from other lists ranking popular Web sites because Word of Net measures the various ways consumers catch online references to Web sites.
