A West Hempstead real estate attorney was arrested on charges that he stole more than $5.7 million from clients and used the money to fund his own investments.
David Frankel, 50, surrendered to detectives of the Nassau County District Attorney's office Tuesday morning and was charged with one count of first-degree grand larceny and six counts of second degree grand larceny, Acting DA Madeline Singas announced.
