Hong Kong-based Ward Ferry Management, one of the oldest names in the Asian hedge fund industry, has closed its 15-year old pan-Asia long/short equity fund, the WF Asia Fund Limited, and returned capital to investors.
The announcement was made to investors in October and all capital was returned by mid-December. The move, which marks the end of an era, was accompanied by the departure of Andrew Nash-Webber, the firm's co-CIO, from the firm late last year.
