The impact of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) on U.S. airlines is expected to be limited as long as the infectious disease generally remains isolated to Asia, according to Jamie Baker of JP Morgan. Nevertheless, two carriers with a lot to lose are Northwest Airlines (NWAC) and United Airlines (UAL), although this may be a good time to buy Northwest shares.
