Relatório Num Clube de 1ª Divisão do Basquetebol Espanhol na Época Desportiva de 2022/23

Abstract

A gestão desportiva pode ser caracterizada pela organização dos vários parâmetros envolvidos na realização de eventos e projetos desportivos. Esta é uma área que tem vindo a crescer ao longo das últimas décadas e é ainda âmbito de estudos de investigação em diferentes vertentes.

No primeiro ano do 2º Ciclo em Gestão Desportiva, consegui adquirir ferramentas importantes no que à gestão de Eventos Desportivos e de Instalações Desportivas diz respeito, como também a nível de Comunicação, Gestão Financeira, Marketing, entre outras.

Ao longo deste ano letivo 2022/2023, realizei um estágio na Universidad Catolica San Antonio de Murcia Club de Baloncesto (UCAM Murcia CB), clube de basquetebol profissional que milita na 1ªdivisão espanhola, e que também participou nas competições europeias, no caso na Basketball Champions League(BCL).

O estágio teve uma duração de, aproximadamente, 9 meses, onde tive a oportunidade e o privilégio de vivenciar a realidade e profissionalismo do basquetebol espanhol e europeu do mais alto nível.

Ao longo do estágio curricular, desempenhei várias funções, especialmente relacionadas com gestão de eventos desportivos, marketing, comunicação e operações. Foi um processo em crescendo, em que comecei com tarefas mais simples (meramente como estagiário), até às mais complexas e de maior grau de responsabilidade, muito devido ao facto de ter sido contratado em definitivo pelo clube a meio da época desportiva.

Sports management can be characterized by the organization of the various parameters involved in the realization of sport events and projects. This is an area that has been growing over the past decades and is still the scope of research studies in different areas.

In the first year of the 2nd Cycle in Sports Management, I was able to acquire important tools for the management of Sport Events and Sports Facilities, as well as Communication, Financial Management, Marketing, among others.

During this academic year 2022/2023, I did an internship at Universidad Catolica San Antonio de Murcia Club de Baloncesto (UCAM Murcia CB), a professional basketball club that plays in the Spanish 1st division, and has also participated in European competitions, in this case the Basketball Champions League (BCL).

The internship lasted approximately 9 months, where I had the opportunity and the privilege to experience the reality and professionalism of Spanish and European basketball at the highest level.

Throughout my internship, I performed several functions, especially related to sports event management, marketing, communication, and operations. It was a crescendo process, in which I started with simple tasks (merely as an intern), up to more complex ones and with a higher degree of responsibility, much since I was hired permanently by the club in the middle of the season.
