Southwest to end direct flights between Boise and Portland

Southwest Airlines will end direct flights between Boise and Portland, Ore., in the spring, citing low passenger counts on the route and higher need for the planes at other locations.

Southwest has two direct flights a day between Boise and Portland. Alaska Airlines will still provide direct service from Boise to Portland.
