The concept of DVD-authoring can seem intimidating even to presentation veterans. But as the DVD format makes its way into the mainstream, DVD-creation software is becoming more approachable. In fact, Sonic Solution's MyDVD was created primarily for consumer video enthusiasts Looking to get their digital-video footage onto DVD. Presenters will also find many uses for this slick program.
For our review we used a beta version of the update (MyDVD 4.0, which is Windows-only, is now shipping). This version includes upgrades to the interface, allows users to create motion menus and custom backgrounds, adds QuickTime support, and has many other improvements.
