Recent attacks around the world has destroyed lives, heightened fear and defied all norms of international law and humanity. Sleeper cells never sleep, they have become a national, regional and world security issue. It has been producing disaster and security issues especially in the eu, africa, South east asia and Mena and Pakistan.
Pakistan has been fighting against all odds to bring peace and stability in the country. Different military operations have been initiated to eliminate terrorism from the country. The new surge in "urban Terrorism" is a wake-up call for security agencies. Sleeper cells are playing an important role in countrywide urban terrorism where Karachi, Peshawar, lahore, rawalpindi, Quetta, faisalabad and many other metropolitan cities have been besieged by the genie of sleeper cells that are apparently dormant but actually very destructive and dangerous.

They have already proved how real that danger is by carrying out surprising and shocking attacks in the eastern parts of Mosul where Iraqi forces believed Daesh elements were cleared. The government of Turkey has started "operation euphrates Shield" which has ensured that no ISIS/Daesh militant will be able to slip across the Turkish border into the country. The extraordinarily long period of time without a Daesh attack in Turkey has confirmed the group's ability to launch attacks has been diminished by the much stronger security along the Turkish- Syrian border, preventing militants and weapons from slipping across to Turkey. But sleeper cells still pose serious threat to Turkey and the eu.
