Abstract

The Hermes Award, one of the world's most coveted technology prizes for innovation, was recently awarded to SCHUNK during a trade show here. Henrik Schunk, managing partner of SCHUNK, received the award from German Chancellor Angela Merkel. SCHUNK received the award for its Co-act Gripper JK1, the world's first intelligent gripping module for human-robot collaboration.
