Karlheinz Muhr, who left CS First Boston in February, assumed the post of head of global fixed-income trading, sales and syndicate for SBC Warburg, running the operation from New York. A Swiss Bank spokesperson confirmed Muhr's new position, adding that he joins as managing director. SBC Warburg is the new global investment bank resulting from Swiss Bank Corp.'s acquisition of London merchant bank SG Warburg & Co.
