Questia is allowing one librarian at every secondary school in the United States to receive a free, one-year subscription to its library of digital resources, which are preselected by a team of professional librarians. This will provide secondary school librarians and library media specialists with the opportunity to use technology to expand their existing library collections. Questia's online library is one of the largest online academic libraries in the world and contains 50,000 full textbooks; 400,000 journal, magazine, and newspaper articles; and a suite of research tools. Questia provides students with convenient access to a collection of books and articles in the humanities and social sciences through the Internet. Questia's software works as an online companion and allows students to do their research and include footnotes and bibliographies. For more information, visit www.questia.com.
