Alliant ProQuest launches entertainment practice
Newport Beach, California-based Alliant Insurance Services Inc.'s ProQuest division has launched an entertainment practice to provide targeted insurance and risk management services to law firms in the entertainment field.
The practice, based in ProQuest's Santa Monica, California, office, will be led by longtime entertainment attorney Joe Anderson, who has 25 years of experience in Internet, film, music and television, handling brand management, litigation, intellectual property and labor law on behalf of entertainers and corporations.
Prior to joining ProQuest, Mr. Anderson served as general counsel for StudySync.com, a Sonoma, California-based online education technology company, handling legal matters related to the firm's digital media, entertainment, intellectual property, distribution, corporate, labor and business functions.
ProQuest's entertainment practice will sell a broad range of services, including coverage design and placement, claim analysis and advocacy, policy analysis and peer benchmarking and risk control and practice management, the company said in a statement.
Endurance adds cyber to D&O liability product
Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. has enhanced its Premier Professional product with an additional Side A directors and officers liability coverage called Endurance CyberWrap.
The new coverage applies to nonindemnified directors and officers losses triggered by network security failures including data breaches, the Hamilton, Bermuda-based insurer said in a statement.
