FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS, Stephen Pomeroy has been doing his research on over 200 companies to see which ones Pomeroy Computer Resources Inc. wants to acquire.
Pomeroy, vice president of marketing, who oversees mergers and acquisitions at the reseller and integrator based in Hebron, Ky., has been examining companies that provide a new geographic presence and bring an expertise to PCR reselling and integration model.
On Oct. 11, PCR purchased Dilan Inc., based in Hickory, N.C., making it the company's third acquisition this year. *We are looking at strategic mergers and acquisitions and looking to grow our core businesses by focusing on key marketplaces," said Pomeroy.
PCR was founded in 1981 by David B. Pomeroy II, and went public in 1992. It has 11 regional offices in Kentucky, Iowa, Tennessee, Ohio, Florida, Alabama and Indiana.
