Nanyang Technological University's (NTU) is set to open an advanced educational hub in August when the new academic year opens in August. The futuristic building designed by UK designer Thomas Heatherwick, the man behind the London Olympic Cauldron, will support the school's ambition for pushing innovation in learning.
The building will house 56 new-generation smart classrooms fully equipped for collaborative learning and student interaction. Each comes complete with flexible clustered seating for small group discussions, electronic white boards, multiple LCD screens and wireless communication tools.
