On Monday the Federal Government of Nigeria has inaugurated the National Enterprise Development Programme (NEDEP) in Abuja, which is likely to generate 3.5 million job opportunities throughout the nation via developing the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector.
The Trade and Investment Minister, Mr. Olusegun Aganga has launched the plan, according to the statement of Mrs. Yemi Kolapo, a Senior Special Assistant to the Minister, released in Abuja.
The statement has added that the development of NEDEP is aimed at exploiting the openings in the MSME sector to steer comprehensive growth of the economy via training and developing proficiencies, generation of job as well as wealth.
