In Vegas, bigger is not only better, it's a necessity So when Coast Casinos decided to build its fifth locals hotel-casino, it embarked upon its most ambitious effort to date - the $600 million "South Coast Casino." The 52-acre development is located at the southwest corner of Silverado Ranch and Las Vegas boulevards.
It's a rapidly developing area being touted as the valley's new "South Strip," with such neighboring developments as the 26-acre, 2,200-unit Grandview timeshare complex, directly across from the South Coast, and the 700-unit Manhattan condominiums at Las Vegas Boulevard South and Serene Avenue.
