Mutual of Omaha in disputes with other employees of failed First National, suit alleges

The same day Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. unit Mutual of Omaha Bank brought a federal lawsuit against a former executive of First National Bank of Nevada and his new employer in federal court, a separate complaint brought by the same executive in California state court establishes several counterclaims.

As reported, Mutual of Omaha filed suit Sept. 23 against Craig Huntington, president of Community Association Banc, along with Western Alliance Bancorp. and unit Bank of Nevada, alleging breach of contract, civil conspiracy and numerous other charges. Huntington, a long-time employee of First National Bank of Nevada, submitted his resignation to Mutual of Omaha, effective Sept. 29.
