Digital media company AdLink has hired Neil Scoble from Acxiom to head up Composite Digital Media, its email marketing arm. Scoble, who has been appointed as head of permission marketing, Europe, has had a long and established career in the database marketing industry. He was previously at CACI, Wegener and, most recently, Acxiom for five years, with roles including head of business development. He brings an in-depth knowledge of data acquisition, data protection and permission- based direct marketing. Stephane Cordier, chief executive of AdLink, says: "Persuading someone of Neil's calibre to take the lead at Composite is another milestone for us. His knowledge will add significantly to our email marketing offering, which will ultimately benefit the future growth and development of the company."
