Symmetry Investments has hired Stuart Wilson, the former executive at UK-based macro hedge fund COMAC Capital, as its global head of operations.
The start-up, which is looking to operate simultaneously in Hong Kong and London and is targeting an early 2014 launch, is spearheaded by former Millennium executives Feng Guo and Michael Robinson.
Symmetry, which is anticipated to be one of the biggest and most significant launches of the early part of next year, will trade fixed-income instruments globally and follow a relative-value strategy.
