As a child Stephanie Sebastianelli, owner of Burlap and Bourbon, always knew she wanted to get into fashion. After years of borrowing her mother's jewelry, handbags, and shoes she developed a passion and adoration for fashion on her own. Her mother's keen sense of style enabled Sebastianellie to start appreciating the craftsmanship and quality of a variety of designers.
After graduating from Bishop Hannan High School. Sebastianelli's passion for fashion led her to pursue a degree in fashion marketing at The Art Institute of Philadelphia. While she attended school, she completed an internship at Gucci working on their women's visual merchandising area.
Not long after she graduated, she began working as an assistant buyer for women's knits at Century 21 Department Stores in New York City. While in New York City, Sebastianelli came to the conclusion that she wanted to branch out of her comfort zone and start her own...
