Jay Ozer, a former Arthur Andersen partner, is being accused by the Arizona attorney general of violating the same audit standards for the now bankrupt Baptist Foundation of Arizona (BFA) as he did a decade earlier while auditing Phoenix-based Lincoln Savings & Loan, the largest bank failure in U.S. history. The state seeks $600 million in a civil case against AA. Ozer, 58, retired in August.
