Abstract
"We at Indigo believe this is the strongest fall release schedule ever with new, exciting books from the some of the world's biggest authors," says Bahram Olfati, VP Adult Trade, Indigo Books & Music Inc. "The season kicks off with the launch of Margaret Atwood's The Year of The Flood, followed by Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol and many more to come almost weekly through to the holidays."
Books continue to inspire big screen adaptations and in turn, the films rejuvenate interest in the original stories from Audrey Niffenegger's The Time Traveller's Wife to the soon to be released adaptation of Alice Sebold's The Lovely Bones starring Mark Wahlberg and Rachel Weisz. Stephenie Meyer's Twilight franchise will continue to spark the interest of booklovers young and old when the film New Moon is released. And the entire family can enjoy the fabulous adventures of Maurice Sendak's Max, when Where the Wild Things Are releases in theatres on October 16th.
