Deal creates largest competitive broadband provider in Texas
After years of sharing some operational efficiencies and operating in the same geographic area, Grande Communications and ClearSource are joining forces to solidify Grande's place as the largest competitive broadband provider in Texas.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The combined company, to be known as Grande Communications, will have active operations in six Texas markets: Austin, San Marcos, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Waco, Midland-Odessa and Amarillo.
