Though stories of hauntings usually gain prominence around today on Halloween, one construction worker lefta project in an Arlington, Va. neighbourhood in February after a run-in with an alleged ghost.
As construction crews were preparing to demolish the 100-year-old Febrey house, as part of a renovation to the Overlee Community Pool, one worker spotted a little girl in a window of the house.
He went inside, reports the Washington Examiner, and then saw the girl sitting on the basement stairs. He then turned around and back to find that she had disappeared. This apparent ghostly experience proved to be enough reason for the worker to stop...
