VIM technology may have an unusual location, but there is method in its madness

The most unlikely place to find a high tech r&d company is probably Kibbutz Hanita, high up in the hills, virtually on the Israeli/Lebanese border. However, VIM Technologies chose to locate its research and development facilities just there.
Avigdor Bieber, ceo of VIM Technologies explains: "VIM was first set up in 2001 in Netanya in the centre of Israel, with the aim of developing cost-effective dry process printing plates, initially for the DI printing market. We needed to recruit top notch engineers and of course most live in or around the Tel Aviv area.
