Fidelity Investments has rolled out the Trading Simulator, which helps investors to experience the ease of Fidelity's trading process before actually placing a trade with the firm. A Fidelity spokesman said many people were coming to Fidelity to find out about products and services and the firm felt the time could be better utilized by having the trading tool to assist them in that effort. He added that the average trading of stocks at the firm had increased from 27% in 1999 to 53% in 2000 and mutual fund trading from 70,000 to 100,000 trades. The trading simulator is loaded with information and connects customers to over 4,100 mutual funds.
