Legend Airlines uses the Texas star as its insignia and, if officials have their way, it will shine at Love Field Airport. But an ongoing dispute between Dallas-Fort Worth's dominant hub carrier American (AMR) and Legend has been keeping this star from getting into the sky. This week, World Airline News talked with Legend CEO T. Allan McArtor about his plans for Legend Airlines.
WAN: When do you hope to begin service out of Love Field?
McArtor: We have filed our 401, the fitness review. We are hoping that in a week we will have that approved. We'll do our proving runs around the first of the year.
