Web sub agent cites economy
Washington-based enews.com, a leading Web-based magazine subscription agent, has laid off half of its 130 staffers. "The action was taken in order to put the company on firmer financial footing to thrive in tighter market conditions," says Brian Hecht, enews.com president/CEO, who declined to elaborate.
