Ellwood Group Acquires Assets of Gulf Coast Machine & Supply

Abstract

Gulfco Forge Co (GFC) of Beaumont TX, purchased the assets of Gulf Coast Machine & Supply Co, also of Beaumont. GFC, which is a division of Ellwood Group Inc (EGI), manufactures open-die forgings and rolled rings. The acquisition will bring key synergies to EGI and position Gulfco for long-term success and financial stability. Gulfco will work in concert with other EGI entities to provide open-die forging, ring-rolling, heat-treating and machining services to its historical markets and those currently served by EGI.
