With earnings season in gear, S&P Global Market Intelligence presents a snapshot of recently reported financial results for companies in the insurance space.
Life and health
T&D Holdings Inc. reported fiscal first-quarter profit attributable to owners of the parent of ¥68.46 billion, compared with ¥15.68 billion in the prior-year quarter.
Fully diluted net income per share for the period rose to ¥113.82 from ¥25.21, while ordinary profit increased to ¥83.91 billion from ¥29.96 billion in the fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2019.
T&D Holdings expects profit attributable to owners of the parent of ¥123.0 billion and net income per share of ¥204.77 for the year ending March 31, 2021.
