How many times has somebody said "It's been a weird year" to you in the past, well, year? People reminding you that it's been a weird year has almost been more exhausting than the year itself.
At Pablo, we're currently looking at better ways to get more young brains into the industry. And while the year has indeed been weird (sorry) for us in adland, it's been even weirder (sorry) for young people considering it.
Bleak poems on Zoom, end lines about togetherness, manifestos about cheese to sad music. No-one's fault for obvious reasons - but we've got to inspire more than a yawn now we have TikTok to compete with.
So where are we now? Are we taking the pent-up creative energy of these unprecedented times (that's another one) and emerging as one giant creative butterfly in high-tops and a "fuck yeah" attitude? Are we inspiring young brains to join us with exciting work that makes us laugh, jolts us into action, shows...
