Cumberland Farms Inc., a national convenience-store and service station chain with several outlets it owns in Yonkers as part of the repayment plan that brought the company out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Cumberland Farms--which also owns two other service stations in Yonkers and a convenience store in Mamaroneck--has mortgaged Country Club Service Station at 573 Tuckahoe Road to State Street Bank and Trust Co., according to documents filed Sept. 20 in the County Clerk's land records office.
State Street Bank is the trustee for a set of secured creditors who are owed a total $126.275 million--the exact sum listed in county records as "mortgage amount." The bonds held by creditors are due to mature in 2003.
