Neal Batson, the top government lawyer in the Enron Corp. case, is asking a judgeto hold Credit Suisse First Bostons head of investment banking, along withsix other CSFB executives, in contempt of court if they fail to respond to a subpoena.
At the end of February, Batson subpoenaed Adebayo Ogunlesi, CSFBs head ofinvestment banking, who used to run its global energy group. The subpoenaasked him to testify about transactions CSFB created for Enron.
