The Japanese parent of Mentor-based agricultural chemicals maker ISK Biosciences Corp. has agreed to sell the unit for $410 million to a U.S. division of Zeneca Croup PLC of London.
ISK chief executive Franklin S. Barry said the deal will "strengthen ISK Biosciences' competitive market position" and will provide research dollars for the technological development. ISK develops and markets crop protection chemicals.
