PARKERSBURG -- Changes have been occurring at a fast pace this year at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital (CCMH).
First, on July 1, the Parkersburg hospital changed its status from a municipal agency to a non-profit corporation.
This move allows Camden-Clark to expand its services outside the city and serve a larger geographic area, said Greg Smith, the hospital's marketing and public relations director.
"Our goal has always been to provide the Mid-Ohio Valley with quality health care services at the lowest cost. This restructuring plan provides the hospital with more options to meet those goals," said Thomas Corder, CCMH's president and chief executive officer.
