San Francisco-Price increases in California's new-home subdivisions have slowed dramatically, according to an industry analyst.
After escalating between 8 percent to 15 percent in most markets last year, prices in "the same project" rose by less than 5 percent during the first half of 1999, Lorry Lynn of Meyers Group Consulting Services, Irvine, reported at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference here.
