New York-based Bank of New York Mellon Corp. ($203.01 billion) said July 23 that it reached an agreement to sell its Miami-based unit Mellon United National Bank ($2.37 billion) to Banco Sabadell SA.
Banco Sabadell agreed to pay about $111 million Euros, which SNL calculates to equal about $157.7 million. The deal price is 52.9% of book, 72.7% of tangible book and 6.7% of assets. The tangible book premium to core deposits ratio is -4.4%. Ratios are based on...
