2400dpi color printer.
Many of the reasonably priced color printers currently on the market are amazingly good. Knowing this, I recently did several months of research to determine which of these economical printers produced the best prints. Quality of reproduction was my overriding concern. The ability to reproduce prints larger than the standard 8.5" X I I" was secondary, and speed was a more distant consideration.
