The also-ran to Michael Mann's extravagant and extravagantly flawed Muhammad Ali biopic Ali, Leon Ichaso's made-for-TV Ali: An American Hero is less subtle in its depiction of the sports icon but, given its very evident budget and casting limitations, no less entertaining.
