Despite the fact that I've been conditioned to associate the sight of Hugo Weaving and black leather with the phrase "Good evening, Mr. Anderson," After the Deluge flows so swiftly and strongly that the machinations of The Matrix soon became an afterthought.
Rarely do I fall for a movie centered on family relations and hidden tragedies, but rarely are writing, directing and acting so sublimely competent. Even though it can't be pinned to a single plot line - only that it focuses on the lives of three brothers...
