Diversity demands cultural understanding, strategies.
Today's workforce is a cultural salad bowl of diversity, where everyone is "tossed together" while striving to maintain individual and cultural flavors. The old ways of managing just won't work well in this mix. To gauge how well your credit union is managing in such diversity-- how strong its "multicultural" quotient is-ask:
*Are ideas managers believe crystal clear totally misunderstood by workers?
*Do tempers flare in different cultural groups at the slightest provocation?
*Is production suffering due to ineffective communication?
*Do we suspect some differences are tied to culture but don't know what to do?
