29West Tests LBM Update

Abstract

Middleware provider 29West, which was recently acquired by integration software vendor Informatica, is testing version 4.1 of its Latency Busters Messaging platform with early adopters, adding native InfiniBand support and enhanced inter-process communication capabilities to deliver ultra-low-latency messaging for high-frequency trading. To further reduce latency fix high-frequency traders co-located near exchanges, 29West has improved its inter-process communication speeds, enabling processors within the same server to transmit data directly at sub-microsecond levels.
