Abstract

Children should be introduced to quality works of children's literature from the early ages. The literary works that enrich the emotions and the world of thought of the children also turn make fine literates by getting the children adopt the habit of reading. Therefore, both the parent and the teachers should be fully aware in this regard when selecting and recommending books for the children and to the children. The works of children's literature should be according to the child in terms of the content and design (stylistic) characteristics. The stories that are utilized both for the classes and for extra curriculum activities should also comply with the principle of relativity. Here, Karaca and Temizyurek determine whether the stories from Sevim Ak comply with the principle of relativity for children.
