Introduction
Augmented reality (AR) is a display mechanism that combines real- and virtual-world contents onto a single screen (Billinghurst et al., 2015). By definition, real world contents exist in the physical world of the user, while virtual world contents are computer-generated. These can take the form of simple text and data or complex 3-D animations and objects.
