The second edition of Paramedic Care: Principles and Practice is a comprehensive five-volume set providing a resource and guide on the domain of paramedic prehospital care. The original five-volume set was published one volume at a time in the late 1990s following the release of the 1998 Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic National Standard Curriculum. The primary audience for the text is the initial paramedic student, but each volume serves well as a reference text for advanced life support educators, quality improvement staff, and prehospital medical directors. The second edition brings some much needed additions and updated content reflecting practice changes of prehospital advanced life support.
Each of the five volumes is comprehensively illustrated with easy-to-read and easy-to-study diagrams, tables, and charts.
