Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es el de ofrecer una ayuda para la planificación de procesos observacionales en entornos educativos, ajustados a los requisitos del método científico que caracterizan a todo plan de evaluación psicológica. Para ello, se presenta una guía -acompañada de un ejemplo- que se articula en torno a nueve decisiones: pertinencia, grado de sistematización, observador, sujeto/s, unidades de análisis, unidades de medida, muestreo, situación y registro. También se postula que, a pesar del indudable valor de la metodología observacional para el psicólogo de la Educación, su uso no es generalizable, por lo que se exponen algunas de sus limitaciones y se ofrecen criterios para su incorporación a planes de evaluación en el ámbito educacional

The main goal of this paper is to offer an aid to plan observational processes within educational contexts, which comply with the requirements of the scientific method that distinguish all the psychological assessment plans. Thus, a guide is presented -including an example- that is organized around nine decisions: pertinence, level of systematization, observer, subject/s, analysis units, measurement units, sampling, situation, and register. The paper also proposes that, in spite of de undoubted value of the observational methodology for de psychologist of Education, its use cannot be generalized. So that, some of its limitations are exposed and some criteria are offered to incorporate the observation into evaluation plans in the educative ambit
