Abstract
Firstly, this article proposes a brief summary of the history of psychological evaluation and the reflection about candidates' attitudes in their responses to psychological tests. It starts by focusing on a series of considerations about Personnel Search and Selection as a process and includes the topic of evaluation -complex and criticized- of such a pluriconditioned variable: the honesty. The arising question is twofold: from the scientific point of view, whether it is possible to measure people's honesty or not; from the ethical point of view whether there is someone able to conclude whether a person is honest. The challenge is to reduce the margin of error of "estimative" which can be reached without essentially impairing the requirements the market demands to personnel selectors.Key words: Personnel Search and Selection, Psychological tests, honesty.
