Ray Moorcroft follows up his fascinating interview in the Summer issue* with Derek Buchanan, CEO of Episys, by reporting on that organisation's Global Signage & Labelling Convention held on 19th May 2009 at London's Wembley Stadium.
Over 350 people (myself included) descended on Wembley Stadium in London, UK on Tuesday 19 May 2009. In Wembley terms that may not be a significant number as after all, up to 90,000 soccer supporters throng the stadium to attend any one of the major soccer games that the venue hosts.
This occasion however, was no sporting event, but rather the annual Episys Global Signage & Labelling Convention. CEO Derek Buchanan and his team welcomed delegates from the USA, Australia and Europe and from both the private and public sectors, to an event which, at first sight, may not seem to hold a great deal of significance for Administrative Managers.
Well, the subject is totally relevant and the day offered opportunities that can only be described as innovative, exciting and offering great potential to the business of Administrative Management in the retail sector.
